Maryland State Archives Annapolis, Maryland Will Book 7 - 161 John Lammot Last Will and Testament In the name of God, Amen. I John Lammot of Baltimore County and State of Maryland being somewhat weake of body but of sound and disposing mind and memory and knowing the mortal life of my body and that it is appointed for all men once to die, I therefore make and ordain this my last will and testament in manners and form as follows. Then I give and bequeath to the heirs of my son Henry Lammot deceased one dollar to be equally divided between them and no more as my son Henry Lammot hath had his share of my estate already. Then I give and bequeath to my son Daniel Lammot and his heirs twenty five cents as he hath had his part of my estate before this time. Then I give and bequeath to the heirs of my son John Lammot twenty five cents and no more as he hath had his part of my estate beforehand. Then I will and bequeath to my son Francis Lammot and his heirs twenty five cents and no more as he hath had his full part of my estate beforehand. Then I will and bequeath to my beloved and trusty friend Joseph Bolinger and his heirs all the remainder of my estate. Real Personal or mixed, _____ heretofore mentioned) And whereas I have a bond from my son Francis Lammot conditioned for the payment of one hundred and sixty five pounds _____ on which bond I have received five pounds of the principal and the interest for one year. I will and order that if my beloved friend Joseph Bolinger shall receive that same sum ________in said bonds from my said son Francis Lammot then if a certain Jacobs Lozer shall ever apply to him or his heirs for fifty pounds that I justly owe to him, then my said friend Joseph Bolinger shall pay it, but not to be hereby bound to pay it out of his own estate and I do hereby constitute and appoint my said friend Joseph Bolinger my whole executor to this my last will and testament and I do hereby deigh renounce and revoke all other wills testaments legacies and executors by me in anywise made willd or appointed ratifying and owning this and no other to be my last will and Testament. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal this eighteenth day of January in the year of our lord eighteen hundred and three signed sealed published pronounced and declared by the said John Lammot to be his last will and testament in the presence of us who at his request in his presence and in the presence of each other hath subscribe our names John Lammot Alexcis Lemmon Melcher Worner John Carlinger Baltimore County to wit on the 30th day of March 1803 came Melcher Worner and John Carlinger subscribing evidences to the aforegoing last will and testament of John Lammot deceased and made oath that they did see the Testator sign and seal this will that they heard him publish pronounce and declare the same to be his last will and testament.
