Sadie Sevilla Price attended McPherson College, and was a very well educated woman, teaching school at the time she married. She was born in Dillsburg, PA, and her family later moved to the Astoria, IL area, after they moved from Hanover PA. She was active in the Brethren Church at the state and national level, and in fact did some of the research for M.A.s sermons, supplying him with notes that he would expand in his thinking as he did his farmwork.
