Lucina was born in Germany, her mother was from Germany, but her father was from NY.  She married John Judson who came from NY. It is assumed that her mothers name was Dubel and her father's was Dodge. They moved to central Illinois, settling in Auburn, IL.  The 1880 census listed all their children as being born in IL so they came before 1859, when Lucina would have

 been not older than 18 or19. Her husband John was 23 years older than her.
